About Us

The Midlands School of Massage was founded in 1991 with the express purpose of promoting this most valuable therapy in the context of sound and thorough tuition in anatomy, physiology and pathology.

The staff are committed to providing a very high standard of education in these areas and in the development of students' practical skills.

The ultimate goal is that the massage practitioner should emerge at the end of the course competent to screen for serious pathology and confident to treat safely and effectively those conditions which fall within the scope of remedial massage.

Upon qualifying practitioners can apply for registration with the National Association of Massage & Manipulative Therapists (NAMMT) which is a national register.  The NAMMT maintains contact with The General Council for Massage Therapy which is working towards the establishment of a single register. 

The school is based in Nottingham within easy access of the M1 - the heart of the country for students north, south, east or west. We offer you a training of which you will be justly proud.
