Examination is by continuous assessment and a practical examination of a student's skills at the end of the course. Students who fail to attain the required standard may be asked to attend further seminars until that standard is reached. In the early stages of the course students work on one another. Towards the end of the course members of the general public, known and approved of by the School, are brought in for students to evaluate and work on under supervision. Students also have a log book to complete with records of treatments they have conducted on friends. These are discussed with the students as part of their clinical experience.

QUALIFICATION:

A Diploma in Remedial Massage is issued once the examining body is satisfied with a student's competence. Students may then practice as remedial massage practitioners.

The successful candidate can use the letters Dip RM (MSM) after their name on completion of this course and apply for full membership of the NAMMT and CNHC registers.

FEES:

Total course cost = £1720. Fees stand at an initial enrolment fee of £120 followed by ten monthly installments of £160 by standing order.

Students may make payment in full at the commencement of the course by cheque or credit card. Payment by credit card incurs a 5% charge.

Fees are non-refundable in the event of non-attendance but in certain circumstances a student may have their course temporarily suspended. Fees are subject to revision at any time except for students already enrolled. Enrolment is deemed to have lapsed after 12 months of non-attendance.
